Who We Are

The Graduate Students' Association of Ghana, UENR branch, is the collective voice of postgraduate students across every school and programme at the University of Energy and Natural Resources. We represent graduate students in university governance, coordinate academic and welfare services, and build a community where research, leadership, and professional growth are supported at every stage of the postgraduate journey.GRASAG-UENR operates under the broader framework of GRASAG National, the national student-led organisation representing postgraduate students across universities in Ghana.

Our History

Over the years, the association has organised academic seminars, entrepreneurship programmes, welfare initiatives, leadership activities, and advocacy campaigns aimed at improving the postgraduate experience. The association has also successfully established and commissioned its own office to enhance administrative efficiency and service delivery to members.

To be a leading graduate student association that promotes academic excellence, research innovation, student welfare, leadership development, and meaningful contributions to national development through postgraduate education and research.

Mission

Representing and advocating for postgraduate interests; promoting academic excellence, research and innovation; enhancing welfare and support services; facilitating professional development; and strengthening collaboration between graduate students, university management, industry and society.
